Dolphin Healing

In 2000 I swam with wild Bottlenose Dolphins off Panama City Beach, Florida.
We sailed off to something called Dolphin Point which is a natural meeting place for the dolphins.
Me and my friend were lucky enough to be alone with Dolphin guide Leonora Van Gils and President of the Human Dolphin Institute Michel Atlas.
 

Once we swam with dolphins in some days, I think it was the third day came a dolphin towards me. I was 2 meters from the boat and dolphins stopped approx. 2 meters from me.
It began to do a scan on me, and it does usually only if it will catch fish on a long distance, or if they are hiding a fish in the sand.  

When the water is so clear they could clearly see me and did not have to use its sonar system. We have found out that dolphins can scan through things, and that was what it did. It was looking for imbalances in my body and psyche, and then sent the healing "ki" energy into the territory it had taken.
Then it swam to me and embraced my body with its own body, and then swam away.

The Dolphin guid and President of the Human Dolphin Institute Michel was up in the boat and followed it all from. They are trained to see when a dolphin does a scan and sends energy out, and they said afterwards that they had no doubt, that this was what it did to me. And it was a totally fantastic to watch.  

I could not feel anything heals while it was done. Only when I sat in the boat coming in to land something happened. All of a sudden it was as if I was on drugs, I was in dream land.
I had a vision down, what I can not describe. It was just a result of the heavenly creatures that walked across the sky. I had seen a brief glimpse of another world, and it was very short, unfortunately.

When we swam with the dolphins I went home and painted on a canvas. The first painting I painted came a dolphin eye which was so real and lifelike that one might think that it was photographed. When I look at it today I can still feel its wonderful healing energies.
 

I am a member of International Dolphin Watch which was founded by Dr. Horace Dobbs in 1978 among other researchers in dolphin healing. And they are trying to disseminate information and understanding of dolphins. Through I have adopted a dolphin called Fungi that live off the Irish west coast, we visited it in 1999.
